Nancy Ann (Sayce) Amorim, 56 of East Taunton, passed away on March 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 10-year battle with ovarian cancer.
Born on January 28, 1962 in Hanson, she was the daughter of the late Harold A. Sayce and Ann Sayce.
Nancy enjoyed having fun with her friends, laughing, spending time in the sunshine but most of all, Nancy loved being with her family.
Nancy was the beloved wife of Mark Amorim. Devoted mother of Christopher and Timothy. Dear sister of Jean and husband Donald Monahan of Taunton and dear sister of Susan and Neil Harrington of Hanson. Loving daughter-in-law to Vasco and his wife Patricia Amorim of Taunton; Dear sister-in-law to Kenneth Amorim of Brockton. Cherished Nana to Jack and Jacob Amorim; dear aunt to John and Alyssa Monahan, and Great Aunt to Jacquelyn Ann. Nancy will be missed by countless other loving relatives and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday March 26 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Her funeral services will be held Tuesday March 27 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, Hanson. Interment will be private.
