FALL RIVER…Rose D. (Pelletier) Morrissette, 92, of Fall River, formerly of Westport and North Dartmouth, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River.
She was the widow of Frederic N. Morrissette.
Born in Westport, she was a daughter of the late Pierre E. and Alma R. (Cote) Pelletier and had lived most of her life in Westport.
Mrs. Morrissette worked as a cutter for 30 years at the former Ross Matthew prior to her retirement in 1990. She was a communicant of St. Bernard’s Church in Assonet and enjoyed gardening, walking and traveling.
She is survived by her daughter: Diane M. Coulombe of Westport; her son: Paul Morrissette of Fall River; her brother: Pierre E. Pelletier, Jr. of Westport; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Richard A. Morrissette and sister of the late Theresa Daigle, Rita Morrissette, Blanche Hebert, Paul, Henry, Charles, Joseph, Edward, Albert and Loretta Pelletier.
Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 10AM at St. Bernard’s Church, 30 S. Main Street, Assonet, MA. Entombment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
