Karen A. Hutchinson and Neil W. Hutchinson

LOWELL - Karen Ann (Thoresen) and Neil Warren Hutchinson, passed on within eleven days of the other, she on March 29, and he on March 18, at Lowell General Hospital, after having spent the last year together at Wingate of Belvidere, both having long standing medical issues. They had been married for thirty-six years.
Karen Ann, age 60, was born in Concord, MA, the daughter of Frances T. (Rourke) Thoresen of Lebanon, Maine and the late Richard E. Thoresen. She lived in Tewksbury most of her life, and had been employed by Lockheed-Martin in Chelmsford. She also leaves a brother, Eric Thoresen of W. Newfield, Maine.
Neil, age 71, was born and raised in Lowell, a son of the late Warren O. and Hazel D. (Flanders)Hutchinson. He had been employed at Raytheon in West Andover and Tewksbury. He leaves a sister, Joyce Hutchinson of Ayer, MA.
A Memorial service will be held, Friday, April 6, at 1:00 pm in the chapel at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Gorham Street, in Lowell. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854 will be appreciated. Funeral arrangements were through the Tewksbury Funeral Home.
