Vickie (Littlefield) Byrnes
1954-2018 64 of age Buxton, Me
BUXTON- Vickie L. Byrnes, age 64, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 15th, 2018. Vickie was born on December 23, 1954 in Biddeford a daughter of Roger and Doris Littlefield.
Vickie spent her younger days on Stuarts Farm in Hollis, and in the summer at Swan Pond in Lyman, Me. with family and friends.
She also enjoyed boating on Sebago Lake (pontoon/waverunners)
Vickie had a green thumb. She had a love for flowers and plants. She took pride in her clean home.
Vickie was well known for baking tollhouse choc. chip cookies and whoppie pies from scratch for others.
After high school she was a waitress at Tory Hill Restaurant. She moved on to be a clerk at the Buxton town hall.
Then in 1989 she started working for the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 2005.
Vickie was loved by many. She had a heart of gold. She was an amazing mother, wife, sister and aunt. She will be truly missed.
She was predeceased by her father and mother. She is survived by her beloved husband Daniel Byrnes. Daniel and Vickie married after
knowing each other for 90 days and have been married for 23 years.
Son Russell Chapman, and daughter April Shepard. Caretaker of Norman and Shawn Chapman. Siblings, Janice and
husband John Rogan, Carl and Ross Littlefield, and Randy and wife Cindy Littlefield. As well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Vickie’s life will be held on Thursday March 22 from 3 -5 PM, with a time of sharing at 5 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. Burial will be at South Buxton Cemetery at a later date.
