Barbara A. Preston, 74, of Carver, formerly of Somerville, passed away on March 17, 2018. Beloved wife of 54 years to Charles Preston.
Loving mom of Charles Preston III and his wife Karen of Rockland, Lisa Colburn and her husband Marc of Plymouth, Jill Lennox and her husband Scott of Carver, and Karen Grimes and her husband the late Dan Grimes of Carver.
Sister to Frank Ottaviano and his wife Sandy, Robert Ottaviano, and Paul Ottaviano and his wife Donna, and the late Arthur, Carl, and David Ottaviano. Sister in law to Richard and Susan Preston of Carver.
Cherished Grammie to Megan, Cameron, Emma, Tyler, Julia, Matthew, Ryan, and Alyssa. Mrs. Preston is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lifelong friend of 60 years to Margaret McLaughlin
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 22nd from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral service will be held at United Parish, Carver on Friday, MArch 23rd at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at Lakenham cemetery in Carver. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara’s name to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
