HIRAM- Gordon Dale Hamman, age 87, passed away on March 13, 2018 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
He was born in Cherokee, Iowa, a son of the late Philip and Viola (Kluender) Hamman.
After attending school, Gordon proudly enlisted into the US Navy and served for 30 years. During this time, he served in both the Korean and Vietnam conflicts.
After retiring from the Navy, Gordon went on to work as an electrician in Massachusetts and Maine for a brief time.
He will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors, especially hunting and trapping.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife- Joan M. Hamman; and siblings- Dwayne and Audrey.
Gordon is survived by his four daughters- Cheryl Calderwood, Cindy Pickering, Joanne Hamman, and Donna Cady; siblings- Pat and Linda; ten grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Per his request, there will be no formal services.
