In New Bedford, Phyllis (Wambolt) Enos, Age 85, passed away peacefully following a brief illness in Alden Court Nursing & Rehabilitation in Fairhaven. Phyllis was the wife of the late Ralph Enos. She was born in Attleboro, the daughter of the late John & Lottie (Haskell) Wambolt. Phyllis attended Taunton schools and resided most of her life in Taunton. She was employed for many years as a nurse’s aide at Taunton State Hospital. Phyllis enjoyed listening to country music and loved visits from her family. She leaves her twelve children, Susan Hogan and her husband Walter of Somerset, Ralph Enos and wife Dianne of Dighton, Nancy Smith of NH, Jane Cordeiro and her husband Steve of Montana, Karen Mach of Lakeville, Keith Enos of Montana, Patricia Tooker and husband Tom of Raynham, Marsha Disilets of Taunton, Diane Barboza and husband Steve of Lakeville, Manny Enos and wife Denise of Fall River, Gina Brown and husband Bob of East Taunton and Brenda Beaulieu and husband Albert of East Taunton. She also leaves her 27 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Phyllis leaves her siblings, Ruth Boulay and John Wambolt and wife Gloria and was preceded in death by her other 7 siblings. Funeral services are private at the request of the family and burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
