Marguerite M. McDonough, a longtime resident of Charlestown and formerly of Somerville, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton. She was 89 years of age.
Marguerite was born in Somerville on February 20, 1929, a daughter of the late John J. McDonough and Bridget (Corcoran) McDonough. She grew up in Somerville where she was educated in the Somerville Public School system. Marguerite worked as an Accountant for Jordan Marsh Company and retired following 24 years of dedicated service.
Marguerite is the beloved daughter of the late John J. McDonough and Bridget (Corcoran) McDonough. She is the devoted sister of the late Catherine McKenna, John J. McDonough and Agnes McGuiness. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marguerite's visiting hour on Wednesday morning, March 21, 2018 from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Her burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Roxbury.
