Devoted father of Christine Reese and her husband Jason of Pacific Palisades, CA, Kathleen Carroll of North Attleboro, Aimee Conroy and her husband Peter of Lakeville, Robert Carroll and his wife Samantha of Riverside, CT, Thomas Carroll and his wife Suzanne of Hermosa Beach, CA, and Timothy Carroll and his fiancé Teresa Christovich of Los Angeles, CA. Loving grandfather to Kristen, Brooke, Bryant, Bridget, Peter, Daniel, Jack, Justin, Charlie, and Maddie. Son of the late Walter and Eva (Armour) Carroll. Brother of Joyce Hyland of Wareham and Jean Giordano of Franklin.
Bob is a United States Army veteran and served as Director of Information Technology at Harvard University for 36 years. He was a graduate of Dedham High School and Boston College.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Wednesday, Mar. 21 from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home Thursday, Mar. 22 at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 10:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15pm.
