SOMERSET – Maria Luisa (Espinola) Rodrigues, age 97 of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Born in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Açores, she was the wife of the late Raphael Rodrigues & the daughter of the late Manuel & Maria C. (Machado) Espinola. Maria was a retired seamstress in the textile mfg. industry. She was also a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
She is survived by many nieces & nephews. Maria was the sister of the late Jose & Fernando Espinola, Maria Eduarda Duarte, Maria Liduina Soares, & Maria Nalita Soares.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday with visitation from 8:30-9:30, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. www.rogersfuneral.com.
