Obituary

Edda (Raffi) Brossi 82, of Framingham died Tuesday March 13, 2018 peacefully at her home. She had a wonderful life and her last days were filled with love and we'd like to thank you all.

She was the beloved wife of the late Bruno Anthony Brossi who died March 7, 1999 after sharing 42 years of marriage.

Born in Bore PR Parma Italy, she was the devoted daughter of the late Graziosa Raffi and sister to a large family of ten siblings, many of whom live in the Boston area. Her brothers and sisters include Modesto (deceased) and his wife Caterina, Leonita and her husband John (deceased), Paola and her husband Orlando (deceased), Aride and his wife Maria (both deceased),
Enos and his wife Marie, Alba and her husband John, Cristoforo, Peter and his wife Louise, Anna Maria (deceased), and Sergio and his wife Maria.

Edda was also devoted to her own family and enjoyed her career as a professional tailor at Brooks Brothers in Natick. She loved to garden, dance, spend time with her extended family, spoil her grandchildren, and cook Sunday dinners - her home-made pasta dishes are legendary.

Edda was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to so many. She enjoyed volunteering at the Sons of Italy in Natick. Edda had a unique sense of style and her generous and outgoing personality touched everyone she met.

She is survived by three children - a son Stephen A. Brossi and his wife Deborah of Hudson, MA, a daughter Annie Bresnick and her husband Adam of West Tisbury, MA, a daughter Caroline Yates and her husband Tom of Cambridge, UK - as well as her adoring grandchildren Anthony Brossi and his wife Erin, Benjamin Brossi, Zachary Bresnick, Samuel Bresnick and Owen Bresnick, and a large and loving extended family including nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Funeral mass will be held this Saturday, March 17 at St. George’s Church 74 School Street , Framingham at 9:00 A.M. Intermet will follow at St. Patricks Cemetery, Natick. Please let everyone know and thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, March 15, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick MA.
