New Jersey – Lucilda A. (Amaro) Cabral, age 94 ,formerly of New Bedford, passed away on, March 12, 2018 at her home in New Jersey with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Jose Antonio DaCosta Cabral and daughter of the late Maria Augusta (Brizida) and Jose Amaro. She was born in the Sao Paio Gouveia, Portugal.
She is survived by her children, Ivone C. Lopes and her husband Victor and Eugenio A. Cabral , grandchildren Jack Lopes, Vicki Lopes Sltenrich, Melissa Cabral and David Cabral , 7 great grandchildren, a sister Noemia Figuerido and several nieces and nephews.
Lucilda's visiting hours will be held on Friday Morning , March 16, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:30 A.M at the funeral home prior to her mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in St John Cemetery.
