Devoted father of John M. Grant of Cambridge, Thomas Grant Norfolk, Patricia Grant of Quincy, James Grant of Dedham, Michael Grant of Mansfield, and the late Kathleen Walker. Loving grandfather of Jessica, Alexandra, Omar, Brittany, Angel, Miguel, Benjamin, Bradlee, Samuel, Cassandra, and Michael. Great-grandfather of Mason and Madelyn. Brother of Jean Fraser and the late Margaret Noonan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a Red Sox fanatic.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Friday, Mar. 16 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anne Church, Readville at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday, Mar. 15 from 4-8pm. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
