Obituary

Edward F. Cahill, 84, of Medway died peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Medway Country Manor. He was the beloved husband of Ruth (Clement) Cahill who died in 2009.

Born in Newton on September 14, 1933, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Florence (Connore) Cahill.

Mr. Cahill was a resident of Medway for over 40 years.

He graduated from Waltham High School and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Before his retirement, he worked for General Motors Parts Division in Westwood.

Mr. Cahill loved NASCAR and was a car and motorcycle enthusiast.

He is survived by his son Edward R. Cahill of Jacksonville, Florida and two daughters Patricia D. Cahill of Attleboro and Janet M. Ruggiero of Bellingham.

He is also survived by one brother, Robert Cahill of Largo, Florida, three grandchildren, John J. Ruggiero of Bellingham, Sean and Alexis Cahill of Michigan, and three great grandchildren, Atticus, Althea and Mila Cahill also of Michigan.

The family would like to thank the staff at Medway Country Manor for their care and support.

His funeral services will take place privately at Evergreen Cemetery in Medway.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway.
