Mrs. Shirley R. (Grenier) Dumont, 78, of Dracut passed away on Thursday March 8th 2018 at Lowell General Hospital. The daughter of the late Joseph and Bernadette (Biron) Grenier, she was born in Lawrence on March 19th 1939. Mrs. Dumont was a stay at home wife and mother. She was a member of the American Sewing Guild.and attended St Francis Church. She enjoyed sewing and reading, but mostly loved to spend time with her family. Mrs. Dumont was pre-deceased by her son Kenneth Dumont, her sister; Irene (Grenier) Provencal and two brothers; Russell Grenier and Norman Grenier. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Paul Dumont of Dracut, one daughter; Cheryl and her husband Steven Nowak of Salem, NH, one sister; Annette Konieczny of Littleton, NH, one Brother; George Grenier of Windham, NH, three Grandchildren; Corey Nowak, Kaitlin Nowak, and Benjamin Nowak. There are several nieces and nephews.
