Paul Kenneth Dorris, age 70, passed away March 05, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North MS in Oxford, MS. He was born April 28, 1947, to Adrian Eugene Dorris and Martha Louise Adams Dorris in Water Valley, MS. He served in the US Navy, and worked as a drywall installer. Kenneth enjoyed anything outdoors, more especially his horses, and had the ability to fix anything that was broken. He was a staunch member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. His daughter and grandchildren were the light of his life.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 08, 2018, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley, MS, with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery with Dylan Hethcoat, Trinity Brasseaux, Robert Rivera, Zach Brower, and Josh Brown serving as pallbearers.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Jessica Lynn Dorris and her fiance, Trinity Brasseaux of Carencro, LA; two grandchildren, Dylan Hethcoat and Ashlyn Hethcoat, both of Carencro, LA; and one sister, Nancy Gayle Chandler of Water Valley, MS. He is also survived by his former wife and the mother of their daughter, Sandra Rivera and her husband, Robert of Carencro.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by one brother, Shelby Gene Dorris.
