David B. Connors, a resident of Charlestown and formerly of Arlington, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at his home in Charlestown. He was 68 years of age.
David was born in Cambridge on November 15, 1949, a son of the late John A. Connors and Elizabeth J. (O'Brien) Connors. He grew up in Arlington where he was educated in the Arlington Public School system and graduated from Arlington Catholic High School in 1966. David furthered his education and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston University in 1970. Following his graduation from Boston University, David enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and served his country with honor and courage during the Vietnam Conflict. Following his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, David settled in the Richmond, Virginia area where he enrolled at the University of Virginia and received his Masters Degree in Teaching in 1976. David taught History in two separate high schools in the Richmond area counties.
David is the beloved husband of the late Lorraine J. (Bergeron) Connors. He was the devoted father of the late Andrea Rose Connors. David is survived by his close knit group of friends who supported and cared for him throughout his illness.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend David's Funeral Mass on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown. His burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
