Vernon L. Barber Jr., 58, passed away Thursday evening, March 1, 2018 at his Yulee residence.
He was born November 6, 1959 in Savannah, GA and moved to Yulee 48 years ago.
Vernon was a generous and caring person and whatever he did he did it to the best of his ability. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was predeceased by his parents, Vernon L. Barber, Sr. and Martha Edwards Barber.
Survivors include his son, Vernon L. Barber, III who lives in CA; a daughter, Jennifer Nichole Barber who lives in GA; a sister, Michele Barber of Yulee, FL and a brother, James Barber, Sr., also of Yulee; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
