Linda Geraldine Colombo Pinardi died peacefully at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA on February 1, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. She was 78 years old. She was predeceased by her parents, Mario and Angelina Colombo, of Beverly, MA, and her husband of 26 years, Richard J. Pinardi, of Winchester, MA. Linda is survived by her sister, Rosemarie Morrissey and brother-in-law, Robert Morrissey, of Summerfield, FL, nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews along with other family and countless friends who were blessed to know her.
Linda was born in 1939 in Boston and graduated from Beverly High School in 1958. She worked as a hair stylist for 30 years, eventually managing a salon for Jordan Marsh & Co. She worked for Filene`s and Marshall`s before retiring. Spending time with family and friends was the greatest joy in Linda`s life and she will be dearly missed.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either of Linda`s favorite charities: Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA 01970 or Glastonbury Abbey, 16 Hull Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
