Philip R. Molloy, age 89 of Milton, formerly of Needham passed away February 26th. Born in Malden, he was raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School. He was the Manager of Buckley & Scott Oil in Needham for many years before retiring. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with his grandchildren.
Beloved husband of Edith E. (Nickerson). Father of Karen Gerry and her husband Richard of Hopkinton, NH and Robyn Molloy and significant other Vernon Johnson of Rockland. Brother of Patrick Molloy of Oregon, and the late Marjorie Slattery, Frances Winterson, Eileen Maguire, James, Joseph, and Thomas Molloy. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 2-6 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Monday morning at 10.
