TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Linda G. (DiPirro) Lembo, 73, died peacefully on Sunday, February 25, surrounded by her beloved family at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was born September 6, 1944 in Somerville, MA to Anthony and Madeline DiPirro (both deceased). She is survived by her husband Robert F. Lembo of 52 years.
She is also survived by her four children Roberta (Lembo) Madison and her husband Anthony Aceto of Sandown, NH, Paula (Lembo) Henderson and her husband Mark of Lowell, Laura Lembo of Wareham, Jon Lembo of Windham, NH; three grandsons Vincent Leone of Taunton, Dominic Leone of Plymouth, Niccolo Lembo-Volpe of Wareham, and a granddaughter Brooke Anderson of Tyngsboro; brother Gene DiPirro and his wife Gwen of Turner, ME, brother Charles DiPirro and his wife Diane of Plymouth, and a sister Donna DiPirro of Plymouth, beloved dog Marco, and many nieces and nephews.
Summers in her earlier days were spent on Cape Cod waterskiing from Falmouth to Martha's Vineyard and back on one ski. She loved boating with her brothers and other family members, and quahogging with her father.
Before retirement she worked for many years at the North Reading Hardware Store where she greeted everyone with a smile and considered her co-workers part of her extended family. She was often seen on the local golf courses and bowling strikes with her league at Wamesit Lanes.
Linda's bright smile and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her, even if they only knew her briefly. We were blessed to have her in our lives and are better people for having known her.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of her life on Sunday March 04, 2018 from 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm at the Tewksbury Country Club, 1880 Main St. Tewksbury, MA.
