LIMINGTON – Patricia “Patty” Diane York, 61, died suddenly at her home on February 24th, 2018.
Patty’s husband of 25 years, Horace York Jr, passed away very recently.
Patty is survived by her daughter Savannah Sauter of Saco, ME, her son Cody Leach of Rochester, NY and her beloved grandson “Captain” Jack Willey with whom she shared a love of Pirates. She is also survived by her stepson Horace “Nate” York III, his wife Heather and their son Horace IV of Limington, ME, her stepson Harlan York and his son Harlan Jr of Limington, ME and stepdaughter Geneva York of Old Town, ME. She is also mourned by her sister Barb, brother Ricky and many nieces and nephews. Her mother Evelyn and her sister Tammy preceded her in death.
Patty was born on December 28th, 1956 in Paris, Arkansas. Her family moved to Los Angeles, California when she was very young and she continued to travel around the states living in places such as Oregon, Northern California, Florida, and Maine. Patty was a very quiet person who always put everyone before herself. She was an avid reader, pool player, incredible cook and a very talented gardener.
A celebration of Patty’s life will be held at a later date.
