Stephen J. Pearsall, 62, of Hampstead, NH, died Wednesday February 14, 2018, in Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, NH. He was born in Newport, RI on September 14, 1955, a son of Hazel (Vogel) Pearsall of Norfolk, VA and the late Arthur W. Pearsall. He was currently employed by Debruyckere Law Offices as the Information Technology Manager. Stephen was Vice-President of the Hampstead Historical Society and a board member of the Hampstead Historic District Commission. He greatly enjoyed metal detecting and stargazing. He took beautiful photos of the stars and cosmos while searching the night's sky. Stephen loved his cats, Yogi, Mosey, and Banjo and cared for them as if they were his children. Steve was a ‘gentle giant’ and will be missed by many.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Dolores Kalafus (John) of East Granby, CT and Janet Smallwood (Tom) of Colonial Beach, VA; two brothers, Richard Pearsall (Susan) of Virginia Beach, VA and Stanley Pearsall (Rita) of Sun City Center, FL and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Virginia.
