Mrs. Suzanne (Curley) Price, a 54 year resident of Andover and beloved wife of Dr. Peter E. Price, completed her earthly journey with her family by her side February 1, 2018. She was 83 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of the late George T. and Yvonne (Morand) Curley. Mrs. Price graduated from Colby Jr. College and went on to work as a secretary at MIT, where she met Peter Price, her love of 60 years. Mrs. Price was a homemaker while raising four children and then became a realtor at Doherty Real Estate and retired from the Prudential Howe Agency. She was a member of the Andona Society, Andover Tennis Club, and a frequent volunteer at the WGBH channel 2 auction. Mrs. Price was a fabulous cook and enjoyed sharing the kitchen with Peter, where they’d take breaks to sing and dance together. The Price house was “the best restaurant in town.” Suzanne’s homemade salad dressing and her beautiful flower bouquets were irreplicable. She enjoyed playing lively games of double solitaire with her children. Mrs. Price loved the beach, especially Maine, and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Above all, Suzanne was a devoted wife of 59 years, Mum, and Mima. Her beautiful smile, sharp sense of humor, and companionship will be deeply missed.
Besides her beloved husband, Peter, Suzanne is survived by her loving children Jacqueline P. Griffin of Minneapolis, MN, Peter E. and wife Keren Price of Minneapolis, MN, George W., and wife Elena Price of Westwood and Jennifer P. and husband, Nicholas N. Timpko of Andover. “Mima” to cherished grandchildren, Nathaniel, Gus, Emma, George, Jared, Holly, and Peter. She was also the sister of the late George T. Curley.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring. The burial will be private.
