Beloved wife, mother and grandmother
TEWKSBURY: Barbara A. (Connolly) Corrieri, age 78, a resident of Tewksbury for over 40 years, passed away at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Monday, February 5, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of Robert T. Corrieri, with whom she celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on September 15, 2017.
Born in Woburn on June 17, 1939, she was the daughter of the late P. Joseph Connolly and the late Mary V. (Annessi) Connolly.
Barbara was raised in Woburn, attended Woburn schools and graduated from Our Lady of Nazareth Academy in Wakefield.
Barbara dedicated her life to her raising her three children. In addition, she worked for many years at St. William’s Church by assisting in the daily cleaning and meal preparation at the Rectory.
Barbara was a devout Catholic, and a longtime communicant of St. Dorothy’s Parish in Wilmington.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Robert J. Corrieri, of N. Reading, Susan M. Boghoian and her husband Mark of Watertown, and Debra A. McHugh and her husband Joe of Reading; three grandchildren, Kristen Tower, Matthew Corrieri, and Michael McHugh; siblings, Joseph P. Connolly of N. Reading, Joan Connolly and Kathleen Connolly both of Woburn.
Calling hours are Saturday, Feb. 10, from 10-11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Dorothy’s Church, cor. of Main & Harnden Sts., Wilmington. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
