Obituary

Patrick Lawrence Cuff of Medway, age 27, passed away Friday, February 2nd after a hard-fought struggle with addiction. His life and character were not defined by the disease, but rather by his actions and loving spirit. Patrick was a great brother and a beloved son.

Patrick grew up in Medway with his parents, Jim and Michelle (Marden) Cuff, his younger brother, Calvin, and his younger sisters, Alexa, Emily, and Anita. Patrick was also loved by his extended family members, his friends, and many caring individuals who held him in their hearts.

Patrick was known for his great humor and above all, his kind heart. A truly charismatic man, he was adored by all who met him and was usually found with a smile on his face and a joke up his sleeve. He graduated from Medway High School in 2008 and Framingham State University in 2015, where he played basketball and developed a true love for the game. Patrick was a member of the Laborers’ Local #138 Union. Patrick will be remembered as a resilient man with a huge heart.

He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Kathleen Marden of Millis and Fred Marden of Ashland, and his paternal grandmother Mary Cuff of Westborough. He was predeceased by his grandfather Alfred Cuff.
