Carolyn D. Hohenleitner, a longtime Milton resident, passed away peacefully at home in her family’s company January 27, 2018. Carolyn enjoyed a long career as a Registered Nurse at Quincy Medical Center and the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. She was most proud of pursuing her career while raising her family. She was the devoted mother of Dana M. Burns and her husband Brian of Avon, Todd A. Hohenleitner and his wife Noelle of Hanover, Judith Davis and her husband Donald of ME, Christopher F. Duncombe and his wife Geraldine of Plymouth and Deborah Rossman & her husband Kirk of CA. She was the cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and the daughter of the late George A Daley, Jr., founder and owner of Quincy Motor Co. and the late Irene Daley Weixler and dear sister of Constance D. Grant and her husband William of Milton, the late Judith Cardarelli, and step-sister of Phyllis LeRoy, Braintree. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton Friday morning at 11:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Thursday 4 to 8 PM.
