Friends and family mourn the passing of Evelyn B. Filliger of Kingston, MA, who died Sunday, January 14, after a long illness. Her death was preceded by that of her beloved husband of 62 years, Harry Filliger, who died in 2012. Evelyn was born in Irvington, NJ of Rudolph and Theresa (nee Haug) Bayreder. She is survived by 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Evelyn worked as an executive secretary for Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and later for Choate Hospital in Woburn Massachusetts.
