Jose M. Costa, 55, of Fall River passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of Maria (Gorete) Costa. Born in St. Michael, Portugal, son of the late Manuel S. and Ana (Machado) Costa, he had lived in Fall River for the last 30 years. Mr. Costa was a Communicant of Santo Christo Church, Fall River.
Including his wife, survivors include 2 sons: David Costa of Westport and Steven Costa of Fall River; 2 daughters: Christine Costa of Westport and Isabelle Costa of Fall River; 2 brothers: Alberto Costa of Fall River and Osvaldo Costa of Portugal; a sister: Maria M. Santos of Portugal; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home at 8 PM.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 - 8 PM prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
