Dawn Charron, 74

Dateline: Berkley, MA

Dawn (Duby) Charron, age 74, of Berkley, formerly of South Attleboro, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Morton Hospital in Taunton.

She was the beloved wife and best friend of Alfred H. Charron, Jr., to whom she recently celebrated 55 years of blissful marriage on September 15, 2017.

Born in Newport, Rhode Island on December 4, 1943, she was a loving daughter of the late Earl Duby and Natalie (Williams) Grant.

Dawn grew up in Pawtucket and was a 1961 graduate of Tolman High School. She had made her home in Berkley for the past three years and was a former longtime resident of South Attleboro.

Mrs. Charron was a gracious homemaker to her adoring family and when younger had worked at the former Texas Instruments in Attleboro.

Dawn was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in North Attleboro. She treasured the times spent with her family, and was so proud of being a grandmother and great grandmother. Her hobbies included bowling, reading, and gardening, shopping and being a loyal New England sports fan.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her devoted children Debra M. Tuirok and her husband James, Sr. of South Attleboro, Alfred H. Charron, III and his wife Charlene of New York, Dona J. White of North Providence and twins Diane Robinson and her husband Bruce of Berkley, and David Charron and his wife Palmira of Seekonk. She was the cherished grandmother of Jimmy, Megan, Gabrielle, Ethan Tommy, Bobby, Kayden, Kelsey, Katelyn, Kylie and Colbey, and great grandmother of Emily, Madison and Ayden. She was the dear sister of Kirk Duby of Framingham, and Dona Burns and Kent Grant both of California. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Visiting hours are omitted.
