Lorraine L. Laurin, 79, of Atkinson, NH, formerly of Derry, NH, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at her residence. Lorraine was born February 8, 1938 in Lowell, MA and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elmira (Giguere) Bibeault. She was raised and educated in Lowell, MA. She had been a resident of Derry for 41 years, prior to relocating to Atkinson 18 years ago.
Mrs. Laurin had worked as a nurse’s aide at Sisters of Mercy in Windham. NH, later as a housekeeper at Northeast Rehab and most recently at Windham Terrace. Lorraine loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping.
Members of the family include several nieces and nephews, Lorraine was predeceased by her husband of nearly 56 years, Arthur G. Laurin in 2012 and by her four sisters, Rita Gagnon, Jeannine Robert, Aline Rivet and Lucille Surprenant.
Following cremation, a liturgy of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:00am in St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, 8 Atkinson Depot Road, Plaistow, NH. A spring burial will be held at Holy Angels Cemetery in Plaistow.
