Obituary

NATICK: Arnold Lester Mossman, 87, of Natick died on January 5, 2018 following a period of declining health.
He was born in Newton on October 7, 1930 the son of the late James M. Mossman and Dorothy H. (Whynacht) Mossman.
He was the beloved husband for 64 years of the late Mary M. (Yarossi) Mossman who died on July 1, 2016. Father of Jim Mossman and his wife Beth Mossman of Milford; Ron Mossman and his wife Renee Mossman of Northbridge and the late Janet Ahern. Also survived by his grandchildren Jen, Mike, Andrew, Amanda and two great-grandchildren, a sister Shirley Mossman of Sherborn, son-in-law Kevin Ahern of Plymouth and several nieces nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Brother of the late James Mossman and Donald Mossman.
Lester graduated from Newton North High School in 1948 and received his BS in Business from Bentley College in Waltham in 1966. He served his country during the Korean War as a Corporal with the United States Army. He retired after over 30 years as a dedicated Foreman with American Dura Film of Wellesley and Holliston. He enjoyed time spent with his family, projects around his home in Natick and traveling with family and friends.
Visitations will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 an on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 followed by his funeral service at 11:00 am at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte. 30), Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Mossman family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lester’s memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 43 Nagog Park , Ste. 110, Acton, MA 01720-3426.
