Dorothy M. (Lambert) Maron 93, of Natick, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Eliot Health Care Center in Natick. She was the beloved wife for 50 years of the late Joseph A. Maron who died in 2001.
A Natick resident for 64 years she was born in Louisville, KY she the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Tucker) Lambert.
Mrs. Maron was a waitress for over 40 years at the Howard Johnson Restaurant on Route 9 in Framingham.
Dorothy and Joe were known as great hosts who enjoyed entertaining their many neighborhood friends and family. She was an avid Red Sox fan, liked to sew and travel with her husband.
She is survived by two daughters Lorna Hutchins and her husband Kenneth of Natick, Dorothy Weiner and her husband Jerome of Milford, grandchildren Joseph Weiner and his wife Abby of Belmont, Katherine Catalano and her husband Christopher of Hopkinton, Stephen Hutchins, Patrick Hutchins, Rachael Granata, Great-grandchildren, Emmett, Storm, Maxim,Augustus,Nanette, Sonny and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Sunday, January 14th at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.
