Doris (Boisvert) Vigneault
Longtime Tewksbury Resident
TEWKSBURY: Doris (Boisvert) Vigneault, age 93, a longtime Tewksbury resident, formerly of Chelmsford, passed away at the Blaire House of Tewksbury on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of the late Roger Vigneault, who passed away in 2004.
Born in Lowell on December 29, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Arthur A. Boisvert and the late Blanche A. (Monbleau) Boisvert.
Doris grew up in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury High School.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Matron at the Tewksbury Hospital.
Doris enjoyed the companionship of her family, playing bingo, reading, and traveling to Florida and Maine.
She is survived by her siblings, Pauline M. Powers and Claire M. Bonugli, both of Tewksbury, Patricia Ciatti and her husband George of Chisolm, MN, and Ronald Boisvert of North Carolina; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and extended family members.
Doris was the sister of the late Raymond, Robert, Roger, Roland, and Richard Boisvert, Theresa Valley, Lillian Sheehan, Jeanne Fentross, and Yvonne Fischera.
Calling hours are Friday, Jan. 19, from 4-7 p.m.at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Tewksbury Cemetery.
