Obituary

Harold Noe, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 92-years of age. Harold was born in Magnolia, Kentucky on August 2, 1925. He was the last of eight children born to Mary Elizabeth Gregory and Orshen Wilbert Noe.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over sixty years, Flora Mae, as well as a step-son, Phillip Larry Nunn.
He is survived by three children, Wilbert (Melda), Deborah Wilt (Jan), Sandra Kay Cheatham (Larry); eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
Harold was a member of Minors Lane Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a prisoner of war. During his working years, Harold was a member of Teamsters Local #89 and a commercial truck driver.
Harold was also a 60 year member and Past Master of St. Matthews Lodge #906, a 33 degree Mason in the Scottish Rite and Past District Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky.
Beyond Harold’s many lifetime achievements and activities he was a true patriarch of his family. He was a practical joker with a trickster’s gleam in his eye and a special nickname for everyone he knew. He loved his family and his Masonic brotherhood, and was well loved in return.
A masonic service will held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday Evening.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9 from 2:00 – 8:00 P.M.
The funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 10, 2018 both at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
