Roland “De De” Villeneuve, 80, of Berlin, passed away on Sunday January 7, 2018 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. He was born in Berlin on November 14, 1937 the son of the late of the late Ralph and Mabel (LaRoche) Villeneuve and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Notre Dame High School and was employed by the local paper mill for many years and prior to that, he had been employed by Converse Rubber Co. De De enjoyed playing tennis, hockey and racquetball.
Family includes his wife Carol (Lapointe) Villeneuve of Berlin, NH; sons Michael Villeneuve of Berlin, NH, David Villeneuve and wife Christine of Bedford, NH and Timothy Villeneuve and wife Sandra of Berlin, NH; 6 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; a sister, Claire Rennison of Grahamsville, NY; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife Mae (Lafleur) Villeneuve and sisters Nancy Villeneuve and Claudette Hannigan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 11, 2018 at 1 PM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow in St. Kieran Cemetery.
