Laconia--- Mary Lou Pridham, 86 of the Taylor Community died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Laconia Rehabilitation Center.
Mary Lou was born August 27, 1931 in West Orange, New Jersey the daughter of the late Gilbert L. and Mary E. Stratton. She worked as a secretary for various companies but spent a majority of her career working for the Nashua school district.
Mary Lou and her husband Ed retired to the Lakes region in 1994. Having raised their children in Nashua, they also enjoyed a summer home in Moultonborough NH for over 25 years. Mary Lou was an avid swimmer and enjoyed the Laconia Swim Club for many years. She enjoyed staying active. Mary Lou was an avid skier and enjoyed golf for many years as well.
Mary Lou is survived by a son Kenneth Pridham and his wife, Kathleen of Concord, CA; two daughters, Joanne Keefe of Nashua and Louise Pridham of Gilford; four grandchildren, Joseph Keefe, MaryEllen Mcmenimen and her husband, Patrick, Casey Pridham and his wife, Jamie, and Abbie Pridham; a great-grandchild, Alaina Pridham, daughter of Casey and Jamie Pridham; and a brother-in-law, Roger Pridham. In addition to her parents Mary is predeceased by her husband, Oreay Pridham.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial will take place Friday, March 9, 2018 at 1:00pm at the New Hampshire Veteran’s Cemetery 110 Daniel Webster Highway Boscawen, NH.
