Obituary

Dietel, Annette E. of West Roxbury, MA, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 7, 2018. Beloved sister of the late John and Edwin Dietel of West Roxbury. Beloved aunt of Karen Trockman, John, Paul, the late Bobby, Tommy and Jimmy Dietel. Sister-in-law of Sheila Dietel and Patricia Dietel. Also survived by several grand-nieces and nephews and many friends.

Annette enjoyed a long and successful career with the Boston Edison Co. where she worked for over 40 years and retired as a Vice President. She was a graduate of Boston College and stayed active with the Boston College Alumni Association for many years. In addition to her home in West Roxbury, Annette built a beautiful home on Cape Cod where she enjoyed spending much of her time with family and friends. In her retirement she enjoyed travelling, playing tennis and golf, going to the beach and her Golden Retriever General.

Family and friends will honor and remember Annetteā€™s life by gathering for visiting hours in The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday January 11, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Friday January 12, at 9:00 am before leaving in procession to St. John Chrysostom Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Interment in The Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery.
