Obituary

Ronald A Copponi Sr. 82, died Monday January 1,2018 at the Eliot Health and Rehabilitation Center in Natick.
Born in Boston he was the son of the late Anthony and Phoebe (Samuel) Copponi.He lived in North Attleboro for past 35 years and previously was a resident of Natick.
Mr Copponi was employed in the Consrtuction Business for 51 years as a member of the Boston I.U.O.E. Local Union # 4, retiring in 2003.
Mr Copponi was a proud member of the U.S Marines enlisting Patriotically at the age of 17 to enter the Korean War.
He was a member of the Elks, AMVETS, and VFW, enjoyed coin collecting, reading, playing cards and was an avid sports fan especially of the Red Sox and Patriots.
He is survived by his devoted son Ronald A. Copponi Jr. and his fiancé Sara Farmer of Natick, three grandchildren Lance, Gabriela, Andy, dear niece Kristin Pucino Gibson, loving cousins Diane " Ray” Valenti and her husband Michael, John “Butchie” Copponi, and many other grand nieces newphews and cousins.
He was also the father of the late Carole Calderon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Saturday January 6 at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street,at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Linus Church 119 Hartford Street, Natick at 10:00 A.M. .
Visiting hours are Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Burial with Military honors on Monday January 8, at 1:00 P. M. at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
