Gilford---- Stephen E. Anthony, 66, of Timber Lane died peacefully Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
Stephen was born May 6, 1951 in Melrose, MA, the son of Earl and Phyllis (Bragg) Anthony. Stephen had been a resident of Gilford for thirty-one years moving from Saugus, MA in 1986. Prior to his retirement in 2012, Stephen worked for Invacare Corporation. Stephen was an avid reader and loved photography. One of his favorite locations to photograph the sunrise and sunset were from the beaches of Lake Shore Park where he had his summer residence since 1974. Stephen was also a very devoted and involved member of the Gilford Community Church.
Stephen is survived by his mother, Phyllis Anthony; his wife of 41 years, Dianne Anthony; two sons, Stephen Anthony Jr. and his wife, Suzannah of Saugus, MA and David Anthony of Key West, FL; a daughter, Sarah James and her husband, David of Townsend, MA; four grandchildren, Peyton James, Meghan, Paige and Henry Anthony; a brother William Anthony and his wife Susan of Bradford, MA; two sisters, Carol Davila and her husband, Stephen of Fairbanks, AK and Susan Bossi and her husband, Donald of Saugus, MA; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Earl Anthony.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, February 3, 2017 at the Gilford Community Church, 19 Potter Hill Road Gilford, NH 03249.
