One of his favorite places was a remote lake house on Lake Armington in Piermont, NH which he purchased as a way to spend time with his family and brought him great joy. Richard had a great sense of humor, and often had a twinkle in his eye. Richard was a Word War II Army veteran. He was stationed in both the US and Europe.
