Kathryn E. (Connor) O'Donnell, age 83, passed away on Dec. 25, 2017 at the Life care Center of Wilbraham. She was born on Jan. 14, 1934 in Springfield, a daughter of the late Edmund and Florence (O'Brien) Connor. Kathryn worked as a legal secretary and later as a self employed Domestic Engineer. She was most well-known however, as a World-Class Nanny for many years. She is predeceased by her husband Colbert O'Donnell. She leaves 2 sons Robert O'Donnell and his wife Laura of Hampden and James O'Donnell and his wife Doree of Granby; 3 daughters Kathleen Salvador and her husband Joseph of Shutesbury, Ellen “Betsy” Grenier and her husband Daniel of West Springfield and Patricia McDonnell and her husband Michael of Ludlow; 1 sister, Ann Connor of Chicopee; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son William O'Donnell, her brother Edward Connor and her sister Mary Connor. She was a communicant of Holy Name of Jesus Parish. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 A.M., in the Elms College Chapel located on the third floor of Berchmans Hall, with a Memorial Mass in the Chapel at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Lorraine's Soup Kitchen, Chicopee. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
