Obituary

MaryEllen (Ginley) Pelletier,63, of Walpole passed away suddenly in her home on Sunday, December 24, 2017.

Born on August 7, 1954 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Margaret M. (Dillon) Ginley. A lifelong resident of Walpole, she was a familiar face around town.

She is survived by her husband James Pelletier and four children, Michael Lee and his wife Kate of Woburn, Megan Johnson and her husband Ben of Plymouth, Timothy Pelletier and his wife Maria of Encino, CA, and Ryan Pelletier and his wife Jess of Cumberland, RI.

She is also survived by four loving grandchildren, Graham and Margaret Johnson and Fiona and Evelyn Pelletier.

She is survived by her brother James P. Ginley and his wife Kathy of Franklin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends and of course her two cats “Frank” and “Fluffy”.

Mary Ellen had a strong love for her Irish heritage and traditions. An avid reader, she was always reading the latest best seller or biography. Her gregarious personality drew many people in from all different walks of life only to be rivaled by her love for animals.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, December 29 at 10:00AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond St. Walpole.

Interment will take place in St. Francis Cemetery in Walpole.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5-8PM in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main St., Walpole.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in her name to Margaret M. Ginley Scholarship for Nursing c/o Walpole Scholarship Foundation, PO Box 152, Walpole, MA 02081.
