SGT. JEFFREY S. KAMPSCHAEFER, 37, passed away December 20, 2017.
He was a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician for the Okolona Fire Dept., a part time firefighter for Camp Taylor Fire Dept., a volunteer firefighter for Lake Dreamland Fire Dept. and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church,
Preceding him in death was his father, Albert “Chipper” Kampschaefer, Jr.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 9 years, Sarah (Moore) Kampschaefer; his children, Payton and Aiden Kampschaefer; his mother, Pam Ballard; brother, Jeremy Kampschaefer (Laura); sister, Amy Dykes (Dan); father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marty & June Moore; brother-in-law, Marty Moore, Jr. (Samantha); eleven nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Highway with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the family for the benefit of his children.
