Thomas Joseph Kehoe III, 68, of Mystic died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Mystic Healthcare. He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan (Watkins) Borenstein.
He was born on February 28, 1949 in Libertyville, IL, the son of Thomas J. Kehoe Jr., and Catherine (Tibbetts) Kehoe. He grew up in Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a Masters Degree in Engineering. He worked as Director of Operations for the Mills Corporation developing stores and shopping outlets, retiring in 2005.
Tom loved football and was an avid fan of the Florida Gators. He was a proud and dedicated alumni of the University of Florida. He was a longtime member of St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church in Groton. He loved his children and his wife, and in turn, he was well-loved by his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Ryan and his wife Leanna Kehoe of Franklin, TN, and Asa Kehoe of Mystic, as well as his grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Kathy and her husband Don Lighthart of Berrian Center, Michigan.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at 11:00am at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 69 Groton Long Point Road, Groton. Burial will be held on Friday, December 29, at 10:00am in Zion Cemetery, 2322 Zion Road, Columbia TN 38401.
