Jeffrey Hayes Mason, 55, of Sedona, Arizona, has passed away. Jeff was born in Kearney, Nebraska, to Tuck and Judy Mason of Ventura. He attended Buena High School and graduated in 1980. He went on to Ventura College where he played football for the Pirates. He graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Whittier, California, and opened a practice in Beverly Hills in 1985. His patients included many famous actors and singers. Jeff enjoyed good books (especially historical fiction), good movies (especially those based on good books), and good food. He liked to spend his summers near the beaches of Ventura. Jeff was well known for his quirky and unforgettable sense of humor, his commitment to God, and his unwavering gratitude for life’s many blessings.
Jeff is survived by his father, Tuck Mason, his sisters Jodi Starbird and Michelle Mason, his brothers-in-law Drew Starbird and Bob Bledsoe, his nephews Mason (Maria), Dylan (Amanda), and Weston (Kandace) Starbird – and his grand-niece Lillian G. Starbird. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Mason. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Turning Point Foundation (turningpointfoundation.org).
