Gilford-----Roland "Gary" Marcotte, 57, of Liscomb Circle died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at his home.
Gary was born October 19, 1960 in Laconia, New Hampshire son to the late Roland C. and Eleanor (Maple) Marcotte. He was a graduate of Laconia High School. In his younger years Gary worked in the building trade as a carpenter for many years in the Lakes Region.
Gary enjoyed ice fishing, Camping, motorcycle events, camp fires, and the ocean.
Gary is survived by his brother, Michael R. Marcotte and his significant other, Tammy Johnson; a niece, Renee Barger of North Carolina; a nephew, Justin M. Marcotte of Morrisville, VT; a great-nephew, Cody Marcotte; a sister-in-law, Jan Marcotte of Gilford and many aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his significant other, Mary Tardy and his brother, Paul R. Marcotte.
There will be no calling hours.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 1:00-4:00pm at the Laconia Rod & Gun Club, 358 South Main Street, Laconia, NH.
Burial will be private.
