Obituary

Daniel I. Tuite, 63, of Middleboro, died Nov. 27, 2017 at his home. He was the loving husband for 43 years of Suzanne (Casieri) Tuite. Born in Brockton, MA, he was the son of James Leo Tuite, Jr. and the late Edda (Fiacco) Tuite.

Daniel graduated from Brockton High School, Class of 1972. From there, he began work at the Foxboro Company doing phone/computer installations. His career progressed to IBM, Siemens, where he worked for almost 40 years, to his current employment at NCR.

Daniel’s real passion was his family. Known to family and friends as a jokester, he excelled at making people laugh. But underneath the humor was a warm, dependable man always focused on helping others.

When he was not spending time with his family, he was often found in his yard. While some found yardwork a chore, for Danny it was a love. He prided himself on his meticulous lawn. His father always joked with him when the last of the leaves fell off the trees, Danny would be out making sure they were not on his lawn. Danny also enjoyed sports, and was an avid Boston sports fan.

But what Danny will be remembered for most is his smile, the warmth of his spirit, and the love he shared with his family. Echoing the lyrics from his favorite song, Danny did it his way.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Suzanne, children, Janelle (Tuite) Lieb and her husband, Billy, and Shawn Tuite and his fiancée Hallie Lipinski. He is also survived by his father, James Leo Tuite, Jr., and his siblings, Margie Tuite and Gingi Booras of Swampscott, Patty Oliari and her husband, Mark, of Bridgewater, James Tuite and his wife, Rosemary, of Brockton, Stephen Tuite and his wife, Anne, of Shrub Oak, NY, and Robert Tuite and his wife, Debbie, of Auburn, NH; two grandchildren, Sophia Edda Lieb and Madison Suzanne Lieb, and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
