Douglas I. McCormack passed away on November 26, 2017. He was 87 years old.
Doug was a resident of Malden and formerly of Everett. He was a United States Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict, and a longtime employee at H. K. Porter Co. in Somerville.
Doug was the beloved husband of 66 years to Eva R. (DiMassino) McCormack. He was the son of the late Ivan and Lena (Lawson) McCormick and raised by the late Cornelius and Agustine (Lawson) Lewis. Doug was the loving father of Maryrose Lloyd and her husband Dan, Douglas McCormack Jr. and his wife Chris, Dennis McCormack, Michael McCormack and his wife Lily, Joe McCormack and his wife Kathy, Eva Davis and her husband Ron, Patty Griffin and her late husband Martin, Lisa McIntosh and her husband Don, and Annie Banks and her husband Rick. He was the brother of Connie Lewis and his wife Kate, and the late Earle, Genevieve, Charles, Arnie, and Helen McCormick, Bill Lewis and his wife Claire, Peg Simard and her husband Joseph, Jim Lewis and his wife Elsie, Virginnia Guazzaloca and her husband Bill, Mary White and her husband Robert, and Jeanne Taylor and her husband Jack. He is also survived by sixteen amazing grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Doug’s life in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway Everett on Thursday November 30th at 10:00am.Please go directly to church. Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be private.
