New Bedford – Cynthia A. Faria, age 76, died on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at home. She was the beloved daughter of the late Hilda (Medeiros) and Joseph Brizida.
Cynthia was born in New Bedford, MA and had worked for Johnson & Johnson. She enjoyed going out to eat, being out in the yard and especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Michael Faria and his wife, Celeste of New Bedford and Sharon Faria; grandchildren, Lars, Jasmeen, Troy, Kayla and Sharyn; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, David Brizida and Raymond Brizida; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Kenneth Faria.
Her funeral services will be private.
